PhoneDiet is built so your data stays on your iPhone. This policy explains what the app accesses and what it does not do.

Data we collect

None. PhoneDiet has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, store, sell or share personal data.

Your photos and videos

With your permission, PhoneDiet reads your photo library to find large videos, duplicates, similar photos, screenshots and screen recordings. All analysis happens on your device using Apple frameworks (PhotoKit, Vision, Core Image). Photos, videos and analysis results are never uploaded. Analysis results are cached only on your device so later scans are faster, and are removed if you delete the app.

PhoneDiet only deletes items when you tap Delete, and iOS asks you to confirm. Deleted items go to the Recently Deleted album in Photos.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. The app checks your purchase status with Apple's StoreKit on your device.

Network requests

Apart from Apple's App Store services, the app downloads one public settings file (for example, the paywall text and the free daily limit) from getphonediet.com, which is hosted on Cloudflare. The request contains no identifiers or personal data. Cloudflare, as the host, processes your IP address to deliver the file, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We do not log, receive or use it.

Children

PhoneDiet is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
